From May, the Telemark Museum invites all Poles on excursions in Polish! Walk through Telemark from the Middle Ages to the XNUMXth century!

From May, the Telemark Museum plans to introduce tours in Polish to its program. Where did this idea come from? It turns out that it's in the south There are many Poles living in Norway, who, according to statistics, are frequent visitors to the museum. The board decided that they wanted to make things more pleasant That's why we introduce Polish language tours to their visitors Polish.

Come back in May!

Tours in Polish organized by the Telemark Museum start in May. The program includes 3 types of excursions. The first is a walk around the family home of Henrik Ibsen and introducing facts from his childhood as well as interesting facts about his family, such as anecdotes, the financial situation of his parents, the writer's work and his travels. The second excursion will be about the city of Skien, a trip through Telemark, a walk through different regions and eras, and an introduction to folk art. The third and final tour in Polish will be a guided tour of Niels Alla's residence. During the tour, participants will learn many things about family history, financial situation, business relations, interesting facts about the residence itself, but also many things about life itself at that time.
