The weather this year continues to surprise. Record-breaking hot summer was followed by record-breaking hot September and October. The heat wave in November seems not to let go - at some measuring stations the temperatures exceeded 15 degrees Celsius.
15 degrees for "good morning"
Today at 7 a.m. at many measuring stations in western Norway, temperatures have exceeded 15 degrees Celsius. Ålesund was hottest with mercury bars reading exactly 16,3 degrees. However, this is not the end - meteorologists predict an unusually hot day for this time of the year. In some places, we can expect even 20 degrees Celsius.
"It will be an extremely warm day," says Vibeke Thines to Nettavisen. "Two low-pressure systems will come from the south of Norway, absorbing a lot of warm air all the way from the Canary Islands," he adds.

Snow disappears in the eyes
This year, snowfall fell earlier than last year. They surprised the inhabitants Norway is at the end October, while statistically the first snow most often falls around November 14. In the face of higher temperatures, the lower limit of snow cover in the mountains is expected to increase significantly. However, there will still be places where the mercury will be below zero, e.g. Drevsjø or Hjerkinn.
Weather for the weekend
Weather forecasts are favorable for people planning weekend trips. On the coast in the west Norway should expect less at the end of Thursday rainfall with local showers. In Bergen, for example, temperatures will range from 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, with a slight cooling on Saturday. The weather will be similar in Trøndelag.

It will be warm in the north, but later
Warm air will also reach the northern part of Norway, but a little later than to other parts of the country. However, the temperatures will be accompanied by rainfall - as, for example, in Nordland. On Thursday, mercury bars will show above 10 degrees Celsius there, but at the same time there will be 50 mm of rain in four hours. Similar weather is to be expected in Finnmark and Troms, with temperatures varying between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius.
