Freddie Mercury is a living legend
On September 5, 1946, a man named Farrokh is born in Zanzibar. The boy was characterized by the artist's soul from an early age. He loved to paint. He showed a great feeling for singing which would bring him great fame in the future. At school, he distinguished himself by his talent for running and boxing. The latter discipline of sport helped him in his everyday life because he was often taunted by his colleagues due to a malocclusion. In addition to drawing and sports, he also took piano lessons, joined the school choir, and a moment later he formed his first band The Hectics.
Freddie is not Farrokh
Freddie Mercury came from a family in Paris. Born on New Year's Day in Paris, he was named after a name that was very popular with the followers of Zoroastrianism at the time. During his school days, friends started calling him Freddie. After a short time, everyone around him accepted the change and the new name remained permanently.

Queen is born
In 1964, the Mercury family moved to London. The man had a lot of different jobs, such as working at Heathrow Airport. His greatest goal, however, was to join the band at the time Smilemade by Brian May and Roger Taylor with a vocalist. No team member took his candidacy seriously. In the near future, he managed to join the team Ibexwhich was renamed immediately to wreckage. In 1970, Freddie Mercury terminated the cooperation with the Ibex group, and at the same time Smile they lost their singer. Immediately after that, the man achieved his goal and became a member of the group Smilewhich after a while, at the urging of Mercury, changed its name to Queen.

These are the words of Freddie Mercury which we know he fulfilled. The singer of the cult band Queen, who was incredibly successful, was characterized by a phenomenal voice. On stage, he was a showman, a volcano of energy, which he drew from the band members and the audience. Bryan May in an interview with Alfie Boe said " Maybe the solution to the puzzle is that when we met Freddie, some kind of catalyst was activated, because I know Freddie was inspired by us. He would come to watch our performance and then he got very excited and maybe he saw in us what he wanted to become."
Mr. Bad Guy
Mr. Bad Guy is the name of Freddie Mercury's solo album, which did not bring him success. He recorded it after Queen announced their hiatus. It was caused by the fatigue of the members of the group with constant touring, but also by the behavior of Freddie. At that time, the man experienced a period of lush social life, which was manifested by spending time in gay clubs in London, Munich and New York, among others.

Live Aid
Live Aid is considered Freddie's greatest concert triumph. This is a charity event that took place on July 13, 1985. Each of the performers only had 20 minutes to perform. Queen had the opportunity to play on one stage with artists such as Dawid Bowie and U2. It cannot be denied, however, that it was Freddie, among all the performers, who stole the hearts of 72 people at Wembley Stadium.
Death of a legend
In 1987, singer Queen learns that he has AIDS. The artist, however, did not want to feel sorry for himself and decided until the end of his days to focus only on what he loves the most, i.e. music. In early November 1991, Freddie decides to stop taking all his medications because he sees no point in further treatment. It was only on November 23 that the man decided to officially inform everyone about the disease. A day later, on Sunday, November 24, he said goodbye to the world. Thanks to him and the Queen band, to this day we have the opportunity to listen to their greatest songs, thanks to which we will never forget about them.
