Oslo can expect up to 15 cm of snow

You could say that winter has just started. Ahead of us is the time of heavy snowfall and the period of the oncoming wave of colds. Surely this news will please skiing enthusiasts, as soon as much as 15 cm of snow will appear in Oslo itself. 

Less snowfall

Norwegian meteorologists, who closely monitor the change in weather, report that comparing the previous year with this year, the amount of snowfall is much lower. This, however, is to change soon.

Weather change

The weather information provided shows that the next Wednesday will be the beginning of the change to winter weather. The temperature will drop significantly, especially in the northwest of the country. The current mild masses of warm air will be replaced by arctic humid northern air.

Heavy snowfall

Around the weekend, in the central-eastern part of Norway, we can expect a temperature drop to -5 degrees and snowfall, which can reach 5 to 15 cm. Meteorologists warn drivers against very difficult road conditions that may appear in the next few days.
