The day will soon come when we will say goodbye to the old 2018 and welcome the new one! We associate drinking champagne and fireworks with New Year's Eve fun. It turns out that many people in Norway are against this activity in the coming New Year's Eve.

Fireworks for New Years Eve

New Year's Eve party is associated with drinking champagne at 00:00 at night, with welcoming the new year, which heralds a change, and watching fireworks displays. On the third day of Christmas, the sale of fireworks was introduced to stores. Anyone can buy them and fire them up on their own, thus celebrating the arrival of the New Year. It turns out, however, that their purchase is simple, so their use may be prohibited.

Survey results

The NITO organization conducted a survey, the main purpose of which was to find out how many people are in favor of agreeing to set off fireworks privately on New Year's Eve. The results are shocking. It turns out that over 60% of people who took part in the survey are in favor of blocking the private possibility of firing fireworks. Only 16% were in favor of keeping this option, the rest had no opinion.

Selling fireworks - it's not that simple

It turns out that selling fireworks is not that easy. Anyone who does this should have the appropriate certificate of completion of the course from the Norwegian Fire Protection Association, which is all consent to this type of trade. Fireworks may only be sold on time December 27 and 31.

Fireworks and numerous consequences

The president of the NITO organization, Mr. Kjetil Lein, is a city engineer and a former, long-term officer of the Fire Service. As he says himself, he has already seen many New Year's images of numerous injuries in his life, which are caused by the unskillful lighting of fireworks: “On the first day of the New Year we see many injuries. This is great nonsense for us, but we still believe that every year just a handful of people will take our words to themselves and take care of their safety. "
