"I can confirm that the shots were fired," says Oslo Police Operations Manager Bjørn Gunnar Nysæter. The man further explains that shots were fired in the building and that one of the residents had contacted the police after hearing a disturbing explosion.

The police reassured that no one was injured after the shooting.

- We are at the site where the technical work is being carried out, because it is, after all, a crime scene and we are questioning witnesses, says Nysæter.

At 06.15am, no arrests were made in the case and the police ceased work at the crime scene. Earlier in the night, the operations manager said police believed there was a link between the perpetrator and the address at which the shooting took place.

It is worth adding that the services suspect who is involved in a given situation. However, he does not want to disclose whether this is an environment that the officers knew before.

- We have some suspicions about who is involved in this shooting, says Bjørn Gunnar Nysæter.

- Interrogations were carried out and traces were obtained, not yet commented on, police tweet at 06.15am. The services will continue to work throughout the day, they write.
