Severe weather conditions in Nordland have led to a series of power cuts in more than 900 homes in the Lofoten Islands. Due to bad weather, 291 subscribers in Lauvik have no access to electricity. On Saturday morning in Ballstad, several households also experienced a problem with lack of access to electricity. In the vicinity of Digermulen, Årstein and Holandshamn in Austre Vågan over 426 homes have no electricity. Initially, this is not the end, because the services inform that the problem also applies to families in Laupstad, Vestpollen and Sildpollnes. According to Lofotposten, a total of 10 reports of power failure had been received by 30:927 on Saturday.
