The Norwegian police today arrested two people suspected of being linked to the theft of a potassium cyanide van - both of them are Poles.

The vigilance of the Norwegian police and the perversity of events ...

On March 1, the suspects were detained for a routine check, and in an act of desperation they began to flee. The chase began - several patrols and a helicopter were used. The suspects were arrested in Kjærstad (Gjerdrum). One of the arrested hid in a dung storage utility room, but a police dog found his hiding place. The second man managed to move to a nearby farm.

It should be noted that the police had been looking for a silver Mercedes Sprinter, which was stolen at the Lørenskog station on the border of Oslo and Akershus districts, since February 20. The car contained medicines that the carrier was supposed to deliver to Norwegian hospitals and an unusual "bonus" - a container with potassium cyanide. Its quantity is impressive and makes your hair stand on end with amazement. The suspects were carrying a dose of potassium cyanide that would be enough to kill 125 people. The deadly substance was to be used in the research process special order Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Warsaw University.

Who are the detained Poles?

The suspects are two Poles - aged 52, 32. They were known to the police before. Their "career" in the criminal industry had developed before.
