Norway is worth visiting, not only for profit. The beauty of the fjords, historic architecture and landscapes in general - these are the arguments for coming here for tourism at least once in your life. The Norwegian Scenic Routes allow you to admire these attractions using only a car!

What are the Norwegian Scenic Routes?

Round trips have always been very popular among tourists. Mainly due to the benefits of moving around the country by car or other land means of transport. The Norwegian Scenic Routes were created in response to these needs. Their implementation took about twenty years and during this time attempts were made to combine the beauty of nature, architecture and broadly understood design. The initiators of the initiative had one overriding goal - to provide tourists with an unforgettable experience.

Not only highways with views

Although scenic highways exist all over the world, the Norwegian Scenic Trails were intended to offer something much more. For this reason, a comprehensive project was created that not only included the opportunity to admire unforgettable landscapes while driving. A network of parking spaces, parking lots and viewing points was created along the roads. What's more, as part of the investment, the vegetation and landscape were thoroughly cleaned of any defects that reduced their attractiveness.
