Polish Army Day in Norway on August 15.08.2019, XNUMX

Please be advised that on August 15, 2019 (Thursday), on the Polish Army Day at 17:30 PM those willing gather at the grave of Polish pilots and Cichociemni, who died on October 29/30, 1942 and were buried in the grave at the Vestre Gravlund cemetery in Oslo, at the Krigsminnelund war memorial. Common prayer for those who have passed away will be led by the clergyman of the cathedral parish of St. Olaf.

A ceremony is also planned at the grave of Polish soldiers at the Vestre Gravlund cemetery on September 1, 2019(Sunday) at 13.00 p.m.to make again, this time round 80th anniversary of the attack of Nazi Germany on Poland, together to commemorate the defenders of the Fatherland. We also inform about the Holy Mass for the victims of World War II, which will take place on the same day in the Cathedral of St. Olaf at 14.30.
