The Frączkowski family, descendants of Czesław Pruszyński, were very touched by the ambassador's visit.

“We didn't realize it until this morning. There was a lot of confusion about a proper greeting. " says Dorota Frączkowska.

The family has lived in Risør for many years. Although the emigration process took place in stages.

– It was my father who went there first work to Norway – says Karolina Frączkowska.

- I was building a boat in Akland. I took a break for a few years before I went with my family and we moved here, says Grzegorz Frączkowski. When I first came there weren't many other Poles in Risør, then I knew everyone who was from Poland.

- Now there are many Polish families in Risør, but when we arrived, we were one of the first families, says Karolina Frączkowska.

An exciting story. We also did not know that the first Polish ambassador was buried in Risør, nor did we know his or his wife's history.

- A story that we hadn't heard before, but it was very exciting to hear it now

- concludes Karolina Frączkowska.
