Much of the problem is with unwashed rocket leaves, which happened on October 20, 21 and 22, 2019. These bacteria were found in stores located in Rogaland and Hordaland. What products are we talking about exactly?

The management of the chain of stores where the said bacteria were detected is asking the customers a huge request to - if they have purchased them, of course - to return the products. These activities are aimed at ensuring their safety. The information was provided by a spokesman for the Coop chain of stores on October 30.

E. Coli bacteria in food products - a serious threat

Nutrition experts sound the alarm: Do not underestimate the situation in which E. Coli bacteria are present in the products you purchase. They are very dangerous for our health and even life. Particular attention should be paid to children and the elderly who inadvertently ingest the contaminated product. The bacterium E. Coli, commonly known as coli, usually leads to symptoms such as diarrhea or vomiting. However, this should not be underestimated. If we do not detect it quickly enough, the complications can be much more serious.

The activities of the management of the Coop store chain are in no way intended to harm customers. They have repeatedly emphasized that customers will receive a refund for the purchased contaminated products. Above all, the health and life of our customers are important - ensure the administrative employees of the Coop store chain. Sanitation examinations and checks are mandatory if you run a shop. The fact that such products are found in the chain of stores is a single case. We only hope that it will never happen again.
