. To avoid a new wave of infections

The measures will remain in force for two weeks, until January 18. Half January the government will make a new assessment.

– We hope this one package enough to avoid a new wave of infections, says Solberg.

Vaccination has already started, but it takes a long time to vaccinate enough people for the pandemic to be over.

- We have to stick a little longer. This only works when everyone is taking part in the effortsays Solberg.

The Prime Minister says that there must be stabilization, and preferably a reduction in the number of cases, for the measures to be relaxed.
