Its main task was to bring together countries that have completely withdrawn from coal energy. As a result, as many as 32 countries joined the Powering Past Coal Alliance. These countries include: Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium and Germany. Norway did not sign this agreement. Thus, the coal-fired power plant remains poses a serious threat for the environment.
