The new government was welcomed by a large number of press and others. The new members received flowers and shouts from friends and supporters. On the other side of the palace, Frp ministers and others who were replaced, including a right-winger Anniken Hauglie, they said goodbye.

“I know that for many this is surprising after the choice of KrF. I think it will help strengthen it support for government cooperation between the three parties. Solberg will do a good job building roads, railways and public transport across the country." – Solberg said at a press conference.
