Kindergartens and schools are closed. But there are a few exceptions.
On Thursday, the government announced that schools and kindergartens across Norway would be closed.
However, Prime Minister Erna Solberg informed that parents who work in 15 key social functions should continue to receive public aid for childcare.

For its part, the Directorate of Health argues that it is important to maintain the activities of health and care services and other key social functions and not to burden people in groups high risk to care for children.
Kindergartens and schools they must therefore provide services to the children of health and care workers, the transport sector or other important professional social functions.
The same applies to children with special care needs who cannot be cared for when the kindergarten or school is closed.
