Minister of Health Bent Høie declares that, after criticism from the National Institute of Public Health, they are working to amend the entry quarantine regulations into the COVID-19 regulations.
The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has advised the government to review and simplify the entry quarantine provisions contained in the COVID-19 regulations. This is because they believe that the rules quarantine are complicated and they worry that they might be misunderstood.
The Norwegian government is changing the quarantine rules. Minister
Health Minister Bent Høie stated that work is being done to review and simplify regulations are ongoing.
- We are in the process of this work now and it is absolutely necessary. Many of these rules have been made over a long period of time and have been changed many times as things have changed, says Høie
- That is why we now need to review, try to simplify and make the rules even more comprehensible. This is necessary for people to have support, understanding and trust in our principles.
Does this mean that some provisions may disappear?
This means you can get them change . This work is currently being performed at both the National Institute of Public Health, Norwegian Directorate Health, as well as in the government. We are in the process of making changes.
Quarantine rules entry are complicated, with a few exceptions. The recipe is very difficult to read, perhaps because it has been revised many times.
