Six billion to fight the coronavirus.

Erna Solberg (H) will allocate an additional nearly six billion crowns in the next year's state budget to fight the corona pandemic, including almost four billion on vaccines.

Solberg announces coronavirus news together with Minister for Children and Families Kjell Ingolf Ropstad (KrF) and Minister trade and industry Iselin Nybø (V) at the headquarters of the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) in Lovisenberg, Oslo.

In next year's budget, the government will allocate almost 6 NOK billion for health-promoting coronavirus measures, including:

  • NOK 3,8 billion for prior supply agreements and vaccinations.
  • 1,1 billion for emergency drug stocks.
  • 650 millions for tests at border crossings.

This is in addition to your regular health budget and other COVID-19 relief packages, such as for companies and municipalities.
