There are many situations in Poland in which we can find ourselves and be robbed. These are various methods that the smarties use. Norway, unfortunately, is not free from this type of crime. In this article, I will describe what to look for and how to prevent further practice if you have already fallen for scammers.

Post office in Norway. Fraud.

The example I will use concerns parcels from the Norwegian post office. It may happen that you will receive an e-mail with the message that your package is waiting for delivery and you have to pay NOK 20. The message looks quite credible because there is a mail logo and all the information about "our" package seems to be there. See how it looks like on an example.

All the data seems to be true and would not arouse suspicion for many people. You could say GOOD ROBOT.

There is information that after clicking the link we will proceed to payment. The link is very reliable, but it hides a little imp. You may notice in the next step after clicking the link that we are not in the place shown, but we are sent to Neverland which will clear us of the money as soon as we pay 20 NOK. Such a payment opens up the possibility of stealing from us accounts to fraudsters.

What to pay attention to? First of all, the Post does not send such messages. It is important to check and observe the links to which we are redirected. As you can see from the example given, everything looks normal. However, this is not so.

Message verification.

In fact, we will check the credibility of such a message right at the beginning. All you need to do is receive information about the payment being made, and this is not just the case for this example. Always check where you got this message from. See how easy it is. The message comes from Post Norge, you click on the information and the exact sender is shown as you can see in this example.

The sender shown here has nothing to do with Norwegian Post. It is definitely a fake.

Post office in Norway. Fraud what reaction?

The post office I went to informed me that they do not send such messages and that it is a fake. I asked what if I paid? Unfortunately, the answer was simple. I am responsible for what I do with my data and payment card, I can report this practice to the Police.

I agree with what I was told at the post office. We are responsible for what we do on the Internet, and you know that he is awake. Don't do anything instinctively, always double-check before clicking.

What if you've been tricked?

If you have already been duped and paid money to fraudsters, you have entered your card details. Block it immediately and ask your bank for a new card. Only then, dear reader, will you be sure that they will not get into your account again. Each payment card has unique data that allows you to access your accounts. Annulment closes tabs the process of accessing previous transactions. Then control returns with a new card until you fall into the trap again.
