President Joe Biden re-introduced entry restrictions for almost all non-US citizens from a total of 30 countries, including Norway.
The entry ban applies to people who have been to Brazil, South Africa, Norway, and 27 other European countries in the last two weeks before entering the United States.
Valid from Tuesday.
The United States previously had entry bans from all the countries in question. With the exception of South Africa, which is now included due to concerns about a mutant variant of the virus.

In the last days of his presidency, Donald Trump ordered a relaxation of travel restrictions. The order was issued in consultation with the US infection control authorities, which demanded that all travelers to the US pass a negative test. This applies up to 72 hours before boarding the flight to the USA.
