It is worth emphasizing one thing - the fact that France has become a football power is not only dictated by the uniqueness of their players. The success is systemic, and its beginnings date back to 1977. At that time, Stefan Kovacs, who was responsible for the training system at that time, came up with the idea to create several central training centers and made it obligatory for each professional club to allocate a certain percentage of the budget to youth training. A central model of the team was also implemented, which provided for the preparation of future players for the game in a 4-3-3 formation. The recent successes of the French national team are the result of these changes.

In Poland, the National Game Model was only implemented in 2016 - that is about 40 years after the French came up with this idea. This concept was presented on March 30, 2016. A free handbook for trainers has also been released, which can be downloaded from the website www.pzpn.pl. You should keep your fingers crossed and count that, like in France, as well as in Spain and Belgium, it will bring tangible benefits to our representation.

Croatia without shame
Croatia does not have a central training system, yet it has already released a second generation of footballers who have achieved success internationally. Until the Sunday finals, the greatest achievement of the Croatian football federation was the bronze medal won by the 1998 team with Daver Suker in the squad. It is worth adding that Croatia has only functioned as an independent state since 1996.

The success of Croatian football, however, is based on excellent football academies that operate at the clubs: Dynamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. In the 2015/2016 season alone, 53 players of the club from the Croatian capital played in all the best European clubs, including the best player of the World Cup - Luka Modrić. As of today, Polish clubs can only dream of such a result.
World champion and riots in Paris
The fact that it was French footballers who won the World Cup aroused emotions in French society. So much so that they vented them in the unleashed riots in Paris. Groups of hooligans began to smash shop windows and also steal. Many of them also went to kiosks and shops to wave the national flag. Public order was also disturbed, among others, by in Lyon, Nice and Rouen. The police were unable to contain the enthusiastic crowd.

It is also worth emphasizing the incident that took place during the final match. Three women and one man entered the pitch. It was quickly established that they were members of the Russian punk band Pussy Riot. They are known primarily for their criticism of Vladimir Putin. Running onto the pitch during the 2018 World Cup Final was supposed to be a protest against the actions of the President of the Russian Federation.
