It really happened over 20 years ago in Norway. During the lesson, the teacher asked the students to draw events that caused them to feel sad. When the 10-year-old boy showed the picture above, no one reacted. He has only been asked to better draw something that makes him happy.
A lesson on emotions
The aim of the lessons during which the children performed their work was to learn about emotions. They were supposed to be drawings about the things that make them sad and happy. Today, the work of a 10-year-old boy arouses great controversy and emotions. If it were revealed to today's Norway, Barnevernet would probably take all steps to take away parental rights. Twenty years ago, however, the matter was swept under the rug.

This is not an isolated incident
Marie Lisbet-Amudsen holds a professorship from the University of South East Norway. He specializes in special education. Poles do not trust Barnevernet. Why? >>>
Nobody noticed the abnormalities in their families. They themselves were afraid to report the fact that they were sexually abused in their homes. On the one hand, it was dictated by the fear that no one would believe them. On the other hand, they were afraid of people's reactions and the accusation that they were co-responsible for these pathological situations. And it was these men who were the victims of sexual harassment in their family homes!
Injured for the rest of their lives
The fact that no one helped the men in the study prevented sexual harassment from being detected. It turns out that the consequences of those events are painful and have left their mark on the victims' lives. None of the respondents graduated from high school. None of them work, although they are trying to find employment. On the other hand, each of them struggles with feelings of guilt and shame, despite knowing that they are not to blame for anything. Each of them also has problems with oral hygiene. They feel anxious when trying to brush their teeth due to childhood sexual abuse.

Are such things happening in Poland?
These events took place over 20 years ago in Norway. In Poland, we were just undergoing a political transformation. The fact that there was chaos in the organizational structures of the state at that time could have contributed to the low detection of sexual abuse of children in their family homes. On the other hand - we as Poles are known as an extremely family nation.
