How was the road to the happy ending? Today's winners in the meantime defeated two legendary teams: Cucine Lube Civitanova and Zenit Kazan. Both the first and the second of these groups have already left the finals. In the final clash, not from the beginning everything was going so well ... But with time our national pride gained strength.
“The game evened out, the teams were swapping leads, but neither of them was able to build a lasting advantage. The Italians did not break down with the unsuccessful premiere and they started the next one thanks to Nimir Abdel-Aziz (3: 0). However, they made a lot of mistakes, Semeniuk replied with an effective block, which allowed Grbić's team to lead to a draw. In the next round, the Dutchman again showed an excellent service and attack, and it was Lorenzetti's team that jumped back for two "eyes". Another block was recorded by Smith (12:12). "

At the end, a very effective single block was added by Kaczmarek, which gave Nikola Grbić's players a draw. The fantastic action of Śliwka and against Kaczmarek gave Zaksa the lead. Kaczmarek had the ball up to win, but ... he was stopped with a triple block. However, the attacker did not give up - he ensured Zaksa's victory in a big way.
