If you are going to Sweden for leisure or shopping, you may spend less time in the queue if you plan to cross the border into Norway between 24.00 and 10.00.
Now the travel advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has changed in many countries
Traffic on the E6 via the national border at Svinesund has increased significantly after several countries turned green. The increased traffic has led to long queues waiting for border control, Covid certificate checks and tests.
- I understand very well that people want to travel now. Now, the Foreign Office's travel advice has changed in many countries, and strict travel rules have been in place for almost a year and a half, says police chief Ida Melbo Øystese in the Eastern Police District.
It is generally busy, especially in the afternoon and evening
To avoid too long lines, the police chief encourages travelers to make more use of them around the clock. In general, traffic is heavy, especially in the afternoon and evening, but less after midnight and early morning.
