Norwegian increases flexibility when purchasing airline tickets and introduces a 03.08.2021/XNUMX open purchase for all types of tickets. The scheme is valid from today August XNUMX, XNUMX.

- The last year has shown us that the situation of travelers can change quickly. Now we meet the needs of customers by making ticket purchases more flexible and increasing the number of open purchases from 4 to 24 hours. It also gives customers more room for maneuver when booking hotels or other travel arrangements, for example, says Christoffer Sundby, Executive Vice President Marketing, Sales and Customer Service at Norwegian.

Norwegian supports tickets in three different categories: LowFare, LowFare + and Flex. There are different terms and conditions depending on which ticket you choose. The reason for having different categories of tickets is to give customers the freedom to choose so that everyone can tailor the trip that suits them best. For example, customers can choose whether they want to travel without luggage, with a suitcase or with two suitcases. Travelers can also choose their favorite seat as an additional product.

Earlier during the pandemic, Norwegian introduced temporary schemes such as free ticket change, which are essentially non-flexible. By default, all types of tickets will be available for 24 hours if you purchase a departure trip more than 24 hours in advance. This means that customers receive a full refund if they choose to cancel their trip within 24 hours of purchasing the ticket.
