Rental prices in Norway's four main cities rose 1,9 percent in the second quarter, according to Eiendom Norge.
The city index in the rental statistics for Eiendom Norge consists of the "average of the four regions". The indexes are from Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger as well as Sandnes and Trondheim.
Statistics show that in the last year, prices in four cities increased by 1,5%.
The rental housing market is back after the coronavirus pandemic that changed the pace of the rental market until 2020, when many tenants, usually students and working immigrants, returned home, says Eiendom Norge CEO Henning Lauridsen.

According to the organization, the biggest increases in the last year were recorded in Stavanger and Sandnes, where prices rose by 6,9 percent. In the second quarter, they increased by 2,7%.

According to Eiendom Norge, Oslo has had the weakest development in the last year. Lease prices increased by 0,8 percent. in the last four quarters, and by 1,9 percent in the second quarter.

- Bergen: up 3,1 percent in the second quarter. Last year, prices increased by 3,6 percent.
- Trondheim: Growth 0,3 percent in the second quarter. Last year it was 3,2 percent.
According to the press release, the apartment rental statistics were compiled in collaboration between Eiendom Norge, Eiendomsverdi, Finn.no and professional rental companies.
House prices
