The plane with evacuees from Kabul already in Norway. NWe could not guarantee that everyone could be helped

- This is the end of an intense, dangerous and demanding operation. About 1100 people went to a safe place in Norway. This was only achieved through close cooperation between skilled and courageous employees of the foreign service, the Armed Forces, the police, immigration authorities and several others. Within a short time, which was cut even further by yesterday's terrorist act, many of them received help in arriving in Norway. But as we know, we couldn't guarantee that everyone could be helped and we couldn't get them all out. Therefore, we continue our work, even though the evacuation has already been completed. We've been working to get as many people out as soon as possible. But unfortunately we could not help everyone who wanted to go to Norway, says Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide.
