Last week, there were 8217 cases of infection, compared with the previous record week in March when there were 6515 cases.
Line Vold's department director at FHI, however, says growth will stop and things will eventually turn around.

– Development is the result of a balance between factors that favor and inhibit the spread of infection. Vaccinations are increasingly inhibiting development, but they will not stop the epidemic itself. An important measure now is testing to find those infected and isolate them. Municipalities are now starting in earnest conducting widespread testing in schools and we believe it will bring good results. Then it is possible that some municipalities will need additional measures to limit contacts.
