The aforementioned country has announced it will fight the scourge and is planning to ban their sale in 2019. In Poland, a considerable amount of straws is thrown away, as much as three million… A DAY. A very small proportion is recycled, and the remainder is broken down for 200 years. Annually, as much as 8 million non-recyclable plastic waste goes to the sea.

The spot promoting this action was attended by Polish stars who, during the short film, boldly say that they are responsible for the death of many sea animals, because these are exposed to suffering by us every day. The millions of straws that end up in the sea each year can do a lot of harm to its inhabitants.
