Norway - CZK 3 million for seafood

, is using the money to increase seafood consumption. 16 companies will receive a total of NOK 2 for projects that will allow children and teenagers to try seafood.

-Seafood is both good and healthy. Yet we don't eat enough of them in Norway, especially children and youth. The government wants to do something about it, so we are pleased to see that there are so many good seafood projects across the country. They contribute to greater eating pleasure for children and young people, says Minister of Fisheries and Seafood Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen.

3 million kronor for seafood

In 2021, approximately 3 million Norwegian kroner was approved for seafood consumption projects. Expenditure related to these projects will contribute to increasing the knowledge and involvement of children and young people about seafood consumption. Both organizations and individuals applied for money. This year, 16 out of 31 applicants will receive funding for seafood initiatives.
