The first Kia EV6 on Norwegian soil.

Today the first EV6 rolled off the ship "Morning Lily" in the port of Drammen in Norway. There are high expectations for Kia's new electric crossover, which has finally arrived in Norway. Kia EV 6 is new electric car. A car that is already receiving good reviews in the automotive press around the world. The range is up to 528 km WLTP and the car can be delivered with both two- and four-wheel drive. The EV6 is proof of Kia's new design philosophy.

Great enthusiasm

Across the country, both dealers and customers are eagerly awaiting the cars. As planned, the first cars will be delivered at the end of October. There are also demonstration cars on board for many dealers. So some customers will be able to book a test drive soon. Later this year, there will be more such vehicles to more dealers.

Let's EV6The EV6 is Kia's first car to be built on the new, dedicated E-GMP platform for electric cars, to show Kia's focus on electrification based on the company's new slogan, "Movement That Inspires." The car is also the first of seven all-new electric cars to be delivered on the new platform. The car will have lightning fast charging, a towing hitch and a load capacity of up to 1600 kg. EV6 was introduced with a multi-fast charging system. This means the system is compatible with both 800V charging and more universal fast charging 400V. No need for an adapter or on-board charger. When charging at 800V, power goes straight to the battery at high speed, and under optimal conditions, it takes only 10 minutes to charge the battery from 80-239% at a maximum power of 18kW. When charging at 400V, the EV6 uses the car's engine system to convert 400V power from the charging station to 800V.

Well-equipped cars

Kia is known for having well-equipped cars, and the EV6 is no exception. From the basic "Active" EV6 version it is very well equipped, among others. in ecological leather, electric front seats, heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats. The set also includes an intelligent cruise control and a driving assistant on the highway. You can choose between rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive on both battery packs. With a 58 kWh battery pack, the EV6 «Active» starts at NOK. 419. For 900WD, the price is NOK 4.

The "Active" version has also been introduced with a larger battery pack, and the price will be NOK. 439 900 with rear-wheel drive. Kr. 469 900 with 4-wheel drive.
