We will update your tax return if we receive new information

As the new tax return is more digital than before, Skatteetaten now has the ability to continuously update your tax return, even after it has been received. They do this, for example, when they receive new information from a third party, such as a bank or your employer, for example.

If you haven't filed your final tax return, you can update your information until the application deadline. You will receive an email from Skatteetaten if you have not submitted your documents or the deadline has passed. IN tax return at the top you will get a message that looks like this:

We will update your tax return

It is important that you check that the new information is correct. If they are not, remember to change them.
