The municipalities were asked to schedule a third dose of the vaccine for all 18 and over. Additionally, the introduction of covid passports and more tests for the unvaccinated are needed, writes VG.
This information appeared on Thursday afternoon during a meeting of the National Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Health and Healthcare and local authorities.
The goal was to inform about new COVID-19 statistics.
3 doses of vaccine for everyone. These will be new measures, according to VG from sources:
* Everyone over 18 must receive a third dose of the vaccine, a so-called 'booster dose'. No time perspective was given for this.
* Unvaccinated people over 18 who live with an infected person must perform daily home testing for seven days or PCR testing every other day over the same period.
* Municipalities must prepare for the introduction of a passport in the country, which will be a tool for municipalities.
