Bergen's nursing homes and home care are suffering from a severe nursing shortage and it is difficult to replace workers who are leaving.
A survey by the Home Services Agency and the nursing home agency in Bergen Borough on September 1 showed 84 nursing positions were vacant, Bergensavisen writes. The biggest shortage was the Municipal Nursing Home, with 57 vacant nursing positions.
