The government will hold a press conference on the coronavirus on Friday

Minister of Justice and Crisis Management Emilie Enger Mehl (Sp). And the Minister of Health and Welfare Ingvild Kjerkol (Labor Party) will organize a press conference on Covid-11 on Friday at 00:19 am.

Government announces that Deputy Health Director Espen Rostrup Nakstad and Director Camilla Stoltenberg of the National Institute of Public Health will also be present.

A press conference will be held in Marmorhallen at the Ministry of Climate and Environment in Oslo.

- Initially, the Minister of Justice was supposed to attend the press conference, because he is responsible for issues related to the possibility of entering Norway. Now the government has decided to spend a little more time on recommendations from health authorities regarding entry, wrote political adviser at the Ministry of Justice Trond Ivar Brække in a text message to the NTB.

In the last 24 hours, 2478 coronavirus infections were registered in Norway. In the past seven days, an average of 1761 infections were recorded daily. The corresponding mean seven days ago was 1505.
