Hejt-what is it?
Hejt (nethejt) is nothing but Internet hatred. It manifests itself in aggression, threats both verbally and with the help of images. Most hateful online speeches that are unkind and attack a person, even not accidentally, are completely legal. This is a huge problem not only for the recipient, but also for the whole society.

There is freedom of speech in Norway. This applies to a citizen of every country - Polish, Spaniard or Indian. Regardless of where we are born, we are human. Everyone has the right to make mistakes. Research shows that people exposed to nethejt often struggle with concentration difficulties, poor self-confidence, sleep problems and anxiety. Do you still feel like writing to someone that another post about job search and quarantine is stupid, and since you've been in Norway for 'x' years, you need to speak Norwegian? We are the blacksmiths of our own fate, let's not judge others through the prism of what happened in our own life.
