Hejt-Polish national sport. In my previous article I mentioned that positive discussion comes at a price. What if it is not always good advice, but words of criticism, even hate?

Hejt-what is it?

Hejt (nethejt) is nothing but Internet hatred. It manifests itself in aggression, threats both verbally and with the help of images. Most hateful online speeches that are unkind and attack a person, even not accidentally, are completely legal. This is a huge problem not only for the recipient, but also for the whole society.

Have you ever wondered what the impact of unpleasant fasts appearing in groups of our Polish diaspora? Does it hurt only one person or does it not judge Poles in general?

Hejt-Polish national sport. Princess does not want to work ..

There is freedom of speech in Norway. This applies to a citizen of every country - Polish, Spaniard or Indian. Regardless of where we are born, we are human. Everyone has the right to make mistakes. Research shows that people exposed to nethejt often struggle with concentration difficulties, poor self-confidence, sleep problems and anxiety. Do you still feel like writing to someone that another post about job search and quarantine is stupid, and since you've been in Norway for 'x' years, you need to speak Norwegian? We are the blacksmiths of our own fate, let's not judge others through the prism of what happened in our own life.

Hejt-Polish national sport. Have you been exposed to Internet hatred? Are you her?

In many countries around the world there are helplines or portals, websites through which you can get free advice. If you are a victim, don't be afraid to ask for help. If you are the torturer - remember that the situation can always turn against you.
