The government is introducing more stringent testing requirements at the border. From midnight onwards, everyone coming to Norway must complete the test within 24 hours.

This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated people, he said health minister and care Ingvild Kjerkol at a press conference on Thursday.

Travelers can take the test at the test station at the border crossing points.

If the test result is positive, the traveler is required to perform the PCR test as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours.

Ordinance comes into force December 2 at 24.00. The tightening will be reconsidered after two weeks.
