Orange flood warning in Trøndelag and Nordland

Heavy rainfall and melting snow lead to orange flood warning alerts in parts of Trøndelag and Nordland from Friday to Saturday.

Heavy rainfall is expected on Friday evening and Saturday. In addition, the temperature will increase, resulting in melting snow, as reported by the NVE warning service varsom.no.

The hazard warning applies to Stjørdal in the north in Trøndelag and Sandnessjøen and Mosjøen in Nordland.

- Rapid increase in water flow is predicted, which may lead to local flooding and / or erosion damage. Areas with a lot of ice and snow in watercourses can face a crisis.
