Many Christian leaders have come together to warn of preachers asking people to refrain from vaccinating. They ask to listen to the professionals.

It was Sten Sørensen, the Proof of Faith pastor, who took the initiative for the appeal, he writes Days .

"We have to listen to the professionals saying that the only thing that helps fight the pandemic is the vaccine," says Sørensen.

Christian leaders warn against preachers

“We think it is problematic that some preachers warn against the vaccine for religious reasons. At the same time the vaccine saves many lives. People become infected, and many become seriously ill because they were not vaccinated, the appeal reads.

Government infection control measures are making it difficult for churches - for the second consecutive Christmas - to hold the Christmas service this year.
