The rapid increase in infection in Oslo has led to vaccination cancellations of several hours. Now the commune invites everyone, regardless of the commune of residence, to come for a Moderna vaccine.
If you live in another municipality, are over 30 years of age and want the vaccine, you can get it from all Oslo vaccination centers. Currently, there is an excess of Moderna doses due to the high pressure on infections and the shifted interval between vaccinations. The usefulness of the available doses expires on February 2, the municipality writes in a press release.
The municipality emphasizes that it is important to see the dose interval if you are having multiple doses. The municipality is also in dialogue with the FHI on the possibility of redistributing the doses to nearby municipalities.

`` We expect to be able to administer most of these doses in the next few days, but given the high number of cancellations vaccination centers are experiencing due to infection, we don't find it realistic to use all doses before they expire, says Arnesen.
