The transport services industry has seen very strong growth in recent years as the koruna pandemic affected the demand for transport services.

Police and regulatory authorities have detected extensive crime in the transport industry. Several criminal groups that commit different types of crime have been detected.

Crime finds the easiest ways, the van segment is unregulated, earnings are at the lowest level and the industry is characterized by extensive use of subcontractors / sole proprietorships. This results in a confusing and difficult to control structure. It may therefore encourage irregularities.

The goal is to make a lasting positive change

There is an interagency project under the auspices of the Oslo Police District that aims to make a lasting positive change. We depend entirely on good cooperation with the industry to be successful, because they are the ones who can implement the best measures, says the Norwegian police.
