The investigation so far shows that young people in Troms possessed large amounts of drugs. Police believe it is a network that has ties to Malmö, Sweden.

"We are concerned that young people in our area are linked to what we believe to be organized crime groups," says Police Inspector Yngve Myrvoll in the Troms Police District.

The 18-year-old from Troms is now in custody, while the 16-year-old has been in custody for two weeks.

The other two people in the case are known to the police in advance. They have Syrian nationality and live in Sweden. They were detained three days later after attempting to transport seven kilograms of cocaine across the border with Sweden in Svinesund.

One person escaped from customs and crossed the river to Sweden, where she was arrested a few hours later.

Police in Troms confiscated approximately 47 kilograms of hashish

All of these people are currently charged with a serious drug offense. They are currently in custody in Sweden and Norway, respectively.
