The price of electricity has risen since Monday

Between 8 and 9 am on Monday, the price of electricity on the Nord Pool exchange will be the highest in a long time in south-east and south-west Norway.

The electricity price will be CZK 2,533 per kilowatt hour, VAT and taxes not included.

Additionally, VAT, electricity tax, and transmission and enovaavgift fees apply.

Also between 9 and 10 in the southeast and southwest Norway expects high prices electric energy. The price will be NOK 2,364 per kilowatt hour.

Andreas Veggeland, director of communications at Lyse, says that on high electricity prices is influenced by many factors.

– There is little wind in Europe. Additionally, Scandinavian countries experience lower temperatures. This means that more people choose to heat their homes Electricity, Veggeland said.
