There will be no strike for now. Fellesforbundet provided purchasing power to broad groups of workers and provided a good starting point for the rest of the settlements.
Salaries increase by 5,2%.
A minimum of NOK 7 general allowance and NOK 3,50 (low wage allowance) is the result after this year's negotiations in the industry. The total limit after this year's settlement is estimated at 5,2%. With prices expected to increase by 4,1 percent this year, this is expected to increase the purchasing power of large groups this year.
Salary settlement ready
– Settlement in the industry is a good settlement. Fellesforbundet assured greater purchasing power broad groups and helped many of our members make their finances a little easier, says LO leader Peggy Hessen Følsvik.
After a time of high inflation and high interest rates, the most important thing for our members was a salary increase. Given the good economic situation in much of the business world, there was therefore room for good wage setting.
But that's not the end
Negotiations on the main topic have come to an end. Mediation on the largest collective agreements has been completed and the result is clear.
-Now trade unions in all aspects professional life they have to negotiate with their own people counterparts at central and local levels. Fellesforbundet assured dobry a starting point for later collective agreements, adds the LO leader.
Fellesforbundet has many different agreements, so-called collective agreements. Once a collective agreement has been negotiated, the motion must be voted on.

One of the main demands included in the settlement is the continuation and ongoing reform of skilled worker education. The parties agree on this, and the government will actively contribute to the implementation of such reform.
The aim is to ensure competence in the field of restructuring, green change, technology development and competitiveness.
– I am proud that we are now achieving a result that will help lift working people in Norway after three years of decline real wages. It's also fair agreement on remuneration, in which low wages are abolished and we ensure smaller differences, says the chairman of Fellesforbundet Jørn Eggum on the union's website.
