Equinor completes its withdrawal from Russia

On May 25, 2022, Equinor announced that the company is outside of four joint ventures with Rosneft and has agreed to abandon the Kharyaga project.

This Norwegian oil and gas company decided to withdraw from the Russian market after Russia's military attack on Ukraine.

Equinor now confirms that the withdrawal process from the Kharyaga project has also been completed.

As part of this process, Equinor has complied with its termination obligations in this area as required by the relevant sanctions.

At present, Equinor no longer has any shares or projects in Russia.
