Even if you are "only" taking a short trip to the store. Even if you have "only" a few hundred meters to drive, a car with snow on the roof, ice on the windshield or fogged up windows can cost you a fine or even the loss of your driving license.
Here are our tips:

Many people take risks and hit the road with only a small "visor" in the windshield, and the police struggle with limited visibility. Those who were not "caught" by the police pose a huge threat to the rest of the road traffic.
Traffic regulations state that drivers must ensure that they have sufficient visibility in all directions. Snow, ice, misted windows, etc. must not obstruct or obstruct visibility.
The police inform us that their enforcement practice is as follows: As long as the "wiper field" on the windshield as well as the side windows in front of the B-pillar (front side windows) are clear of snow, ice and misted up, there is no reaction.
