Record low temperatures in Oslo and difficulties for drivers

Extreme weather conditions create challenges for drivers who have difficulty navigating the roads. Roadside assistance companies report that due to the large number of reports, they are not always able to respond quickly to all cases. Sometimes waiting for help can last up to several hours due to the large number of interventions in a short time.

Serious challenges for travelers

With extremely low temperatures in Norway there are serious challenges for travelers. When traveling in such conditions you should be prepared for potential difficulties on the roads, similar to those that occurred recently in Sweden. There, about a thousand cars were stuck in snowdrifts on the E22 route, standing still for many hours, waiting for help. This situation resulted in many drivers and passengers having to spend the night in their vehicles.

Roadside assistance companies may be struggling

During extreme cold, roadside assistance companies may have difficulty providing quick response due to the high volume of calls. Therefore, travelers must be prepared to wait longer for assistance. It is therefore worth being careful. It is worth planning your trips in advance and being prepared for unforeseen situations to ensure your safety in difficult winter conditions.
