As we read on the Innlandet fylke website, NAV Innlandet and the Innlandet fylke council have been cooperating in this area since 2021.
Increase the number of people taking up work and education
– We are entering a future in which we must succeed in integration and involve as many people as possible in professional life to an even greater extent than before. We have a job market that's screaming for labor, says County Mayor Thomas Breen.

Objectives of the agreement
- Engaging more people to work.
- Activities to increase numbers young people and adults starting and finishing high school.
- Reduce outsiderness and increase inclusion professional life and social.
- Meet your work life skills needs at Innlandet
- Providing residents of Innlandet with an offer of good career guidance.
– The cooperation agreement obliges both of us to put both resources and energy into it. Fortunately, we have some experience in working together and we cooperate well in many areas, says NAV Innlandet director Bjørn Lien.
The goal is also to create a new four-year agreement that will apply from 2025.
Shared responsibility
The Innlandet fylke council and NAV Innlandet also work with secondary schools, the regional adult education center, Innlandet career centers and NAV locally.
– I think that the world of work is very motivated to think together with us, and the world of work needs the hands and heads it can get in the Innlandet community. This is big and important work that we continue to do, but which has been strengthened by the agreement newly signed today, Breen concludes.
