Trondheim elects new co-judges in June
Co-judges are ordinary citizens who help make decisions in court cases. As a co-judge, you can expect to be called two to three times a year. Most court cases last between one and three days, but some cases may take longer. The position of co-judge is a social responsibility and it is customary to fulfill it you are entitled to leave from work. Compensation is provided in the event of loss of earnings.
